Understanding how the Kooler Dawg works helps you choose the right model and get your dog hydrated fast in Sealy.
Set Up Clean Water Access in Seconds
Before you buy a Kooler Dawg, you need to check your cooler's drain size and match it to the right model. The Small Kooler Dawg works with coolers around 48 quarts, while the Large model fits coolers around 84 quarts. If your cooler has a larger drain opening like those found on YETI or RTIC models, you will also need the Converter to make the Kooler Dawg attach securely without leaks.
Each Kooler Dawg kit comes with all the components you need, and the insert inside the package labels each piece so you know what goes where. You install it by screwing the Kooler Dawg into your cooler's drain opening, which creates a secure fit that controls water flow without modifying the cooler itself. Once it is attached, you can adjust the water flow by tightening or loosening the valve based on your dog's size, with tighter settings for larger dogs and looser settings for smaller pups.
Kooler Dawg makes it easy to set up and use a hydration system that works anywhere you take your dog in Sealy.

You probably have a question or two before trying it
Dog owners in Sealy who are new to the Kooler Dawg system usually want to know how it fits their routine and whether it works with their cooler, so here are the answers that come up most often.
How do I know which Kooler Dawg size I need?
Check your cooler's capacity. The Small Kooler Dawg works with coolers around 48 quarts, and the Large model fits coolers around 84 quarts. Match the model to your cooler size and your dog's hydration needs.
What if my cooler has a larger drain opening?
If you own a YETI, RTIC, or similar cooler with an oversized drain, you will need the Kooler Dawg Converter to adapt the opening. The Converter makes the Kooler Dawg fit securely without leaks.
How long does it take to install?
Installation takes seconds. You unscrew the cooler's drain plug, screw on the Kooler Dawg, and adjust the flow. No tools or permanent modifications are required.
What happens if I adjust the flow wrong?
You can tighten or loosen the valve anytime to change how much water comes out. If your dog is drinking too fast or too slow, just turn the valve until the flow matches what they need.
How often do I need to refill the cooler?
It depends on how much your dog drinks and how long you are outside. You can open the cooler to check the water level and refill before it runs out, just like you would monitor ice for drinks.
If you want a hands-free, bowl-free way to keep your dog hydrated during outdoor trips around Sealy, the Kooler Dawg system gives you a simple, durable solution that works anywhere you bring your cooler.

Our Journey in Making the Best Dog Bowls for Your Pets
Inspired by my dog, Hunter!
Kooler Dawg was inspired by my dog, Hunter, during our quail hunting trips in the Texas heat. Seeing him seek out natural rainwater sources made me realize the need for a convenient way to provide cool, clean water for dogs on outdoor adventures. These experiences led to the creation of Kooler Dawg, a simple and effective solution that allows dogs to stay hydrated directly from a cooler.
Steps to Promote Wellness & Hydration
for Pets by Installing Our Water Bowls for Dogs
Step 1
Installing Kooler Dawg is simple—just remove your cooler's existing plug.
Step 2
Outside the cooler insert the flat seal onto the stinger, place the O-ring onto the cooler drain pipe, then guide the Kooler Dawg stinger through the cooler drain pipe until it rests loosely on the outside.
Step 3
Inside the cooler, secure the spring, spring washer, and nylon nut onto the drain. Watch the installation video to the left for step-by-step guidance.
Step 4
Be sure to test your Kooler Dawg connection before filling the entire cooler with water or ice. It may take extra adjusting to ensure it is tightly sealed. Leave it a bit looser for small dogs. Likewise, be sure to tighten its release for larger dogs. Enjoy!
